This page contains a list of our law enforcement application products.  These database applications were designed by law enforcement personnel specific to the needs of law enforcement agencies.  If you do not find below what you are looking for, please contact us for a quote to design the application to meet your needs.

 

 

All applications were developed using Microsoft Access VB.  They will work on any computer that has Microsoft Access installed.  Depending on the application for which you intend to use the product, it may be necessary for the database(s) to either reside on a server on a local area network (LAN) or be a shared file on a computer connected to the network.  Our staff will assist with the installation if so requested.

 

Each application will come with sample data that you can easily remove and start replacing with your own.  Depending on the source data format, we may be able to import your existing data into our application for you.  SunCorp Data Solutions will tailor any application to your specific organization’s needs.  Every application may be purchased with or without a maintenance agreement.  The source code is not locked or encrypted in any way, therefore, once purchased any user in your organization with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access VB may modify the application.  Each application comes with various “built-in” reports that were designed based on the most common needs of the organization.  All reports may be modified and new reports designed by the user.

LE100   Written Directives System

This application is essential for any organization that must keep track of various forms of written directives, i.e. policies, procedures, and memorandums.  Designed to assist the Key West Police Department in managing their law enforcement accreditation program, this application soon became an essential tool for administrators who needed to track the evolution of written directives; provide a means by which only correct versions of their directives were being used by personnel; to track the distribution and receipt of written directives; and ensure that their written directives were reviewed at specified intervals, (a must for any governmental unit to ensure that its written directives remain up-to-date with current laws, technology, training and procedures).

 

Besides the ability to produce user-defined reports, this application has several built-in reports such as:

Table of Contents of current written directives;

A list of personnel in the organization who have not receipted written directives;

Listing of all written directives showing their evolution; and many others.

LE101   Internal Affairs Management

Designed primarily for law enforcement agencies, this application tracks complaints on agency personnel, as well as “administrative reviews” of events that might not be complaint driven.  It is no longer necessary to retype notices to personnel and complainants as this product does it for you with the verbiage that you specify and store.  Statistics of complaints are always important to administrators and a nightmare for those who try to compile them.  LE101 makes it easy for you.  The Internal Affairs Management application supplies the agency with a sure means to verify compliance with many law enforcement accreditation standards related to investigation of agency personnel and discipline.  Because of dynamically linked tables, LE101 does require that you purchase the Personnel Data application.

LE102   Recruitment and Application Process

Equal Employment Opportunity requirements make having a means to track applications a necessity.  LE102 tracks the application from the time it is received and entered into the system.  Personnel assigned to application processing, as well as administrators, will find the built-in reports extremely useful in showing the progress of each applicant, and perhaps beneficial in refuting complaints regarding the agency’s hiring practices.  The Recruitment and Application Process application can assist the agency in proving that they are meeting law enforcement accreditation standards related to recruitment, background investigations and hiring practices.

LE103   Personnel Data

The Personnel application maintains an electronic record of information related to agency personnel.  LE103 also provides a chronological history of the status of each member of the organization.  Photographs of agency personnel may also be entered into the application for a visual depiction of members.

 

This application comes with several built-in reports such as:

Roster of Agency Members alphabetically; and

Agency Members grouped by organizational Bureau, Divisions, Units, etc.

LE104   Agency Inventory Control System

LE105   Training Records Management

LE106   Scheduling

This application allows supervisors to quickly enter the work schedule of their personnel, and to annotate various types of leave, training, and status changes.  Supervisor and administrators can then look on-line at the “real-time” schedule to see the work schedule of their personnel.  This application prints a report giving a pictorial depiction of staffing levels for each day on the shift.  Because of dynamically linked tables, LE106 does require that you purchase the Personnel Data application.

LE107   Patrol Assignments

Supervisors can use this application to make patrol assignments for the day.  The application will then print out a professional looking report showing the assigned area for each Officer’s specific function, i.e. Road Patrol, Traffic, Bicycle Patrol, Foot Patrol, Special Assignments, etc.  Since these assignments are electronically stored, LE107 makes it easy to go back into time in order to determine who was assigned to a particular area or function on any given day and shift.  The reports generated by this application can serve as proofs for law enforcement accreditation standards related to assignments and coverage.  Because of dynamically linked tables, LE107 does require that you purchase the Personnel Data application.

LE108   Automated Arrest Affidavit

Are your Officers spending a lot of precious time handwriting arrest affidavits?  Does the Officer then have to rewrite or type the narrative into his/her Incident/Offense Report?  Are attorneys, prosecutors, judges or you having difficulty reading those handwritten affidavits and reports?  The Automated Arrest Affidavit application can help.  The Officer simply types his narrative once, and then after entering the arrestee’s biographical data and charging information, the arrest affidavit document is printed.  Although the layout of the arrest affidavit itself is not critical as long as all of the information required by the court is present, some judicial circuits do require the affidavit to appear a particular way.  Because of that, the printed arrest affidavit document itself can be modified to meet local judicial requirements.

LE109   Use of Force Tracking

The application of force by Officers will always be under scrutiny by the public, and should always be scrutinized by agency administrators.  Our Use of Force Tracking application makes reporting the use of force easy and uniform.  Once the event is entered, the application will print a professional looking report of the incident, including photographs that may have been taken and entered.  A defined level of authority can then review the printed report, or review the electronic report on-line. 

 

Statistics regarding the use of force by Officers are constantly being requested by private attorneys, prosecutors, the media and various community “watch-dog” groups.  In many areas of the country, this information must be made available under freedom of information or public records laws.  This application allows the user to quickly and easily retrieve needed statistics through powerful search tools and predefined queries.  Once the statistics have been retrieved, print the results in professional looking reports that contain the precise information you need.

LE110   Police Records Management
